Winemaking

Sourced from the three Shiraz blocks at the home Marananga Vineyard - Hillside 85%, Shed block 5% and Front block 10%. Aged in French and American oak for at least 18 months. Bottled without fining or filtration and vegan friendly.

Tasting Note

Lovely depth of colour, being an opaque, bloody red. The nose climbs from the glass with classic Barossa ferrous tones and summer pudding notes. The palate is rich yet alive, with a breadth of cassis, cinnamon, allspice and leather. It's a really rewarding glass of top Barossa Valley joy.

Food Match

pair with juicy rump steak, seared tuna, rich roast veg dishes, hearty, proper chillis and fine, hard cheese. Lush.
