Winemaking

White St. Joseph makes up only 9% of the appellation's wine production, so not a lot of this is made. Marsanne and Roussane are hand harvested, and following de-stemming and pressing, are fermented and aged in French oak barrels and demi-muids. Ageing lasts for 11 months.

Tasting Note

Powerful and layered, with delicate aromas of yellow plums giving way to a mouth-filling textural wine. The oak lends a savoury quality and the finish is long and powerful to the end.
